Conjuror – poems by Allan Browne

If you’ve been to one of Allan Browne’s gigs, particularly any of his residencies at Bennetts Lane in Melbourne, you’ll know that Browne has poetry running through his veins. A great quoter of other poets, he also writes his own. His verse is interspersed through his music, in the liner notes of his CDs; in verse he remembers friends, honours mentors and celebrates the loves, joys, sadnesses and mysteries of a life that’s taken him to places many of us will never see.
